LAPD AFFIRMATIVE ACTION PROMOTIONS

"....My law enforcement journey has transformed me from a loyal member of the Los Angeles Police Department to an implacable critic of Chief Daryl Gates. As a consummate professional, proven leader and a man of high integrity, I was promoted several times by LAPD only to be demoted by Chief Daryl Gates and his equally corrupt cronies...."

"....After exposing several bad shootings in South Central Los Angeles, that were covered up by Robbery Homicide Division, Chief Gates was very crafty in how I was demoted. Daryl Gates knew that I was a supporter of Affirmative Action and each time I promoted in the South Bureau, the Department would suddenly demote me by replacing me with minority officers, mostly from the Robbery Homicide Division...."

"....It was a very clever maneuver by the Chief and his managers, most notibly Lt. Alan Kerstein and Capt. Garrett Zimmon. Using the "Peter Principle" the Chief got rid of Robbery Homicide "brothers and sisters" and used them to deny promotions to people like me. After I was denied several hard earned promotions Kerstein and Zimmon were rewarded and promoted by Chief Daryl Gates and Bernard Parks. Following their LAPD promotions Zimmon and Kerstein became Chiefs of Police for other law enforcement agencies and it didn't take long before they were terminated for corruptly abusing their positions of trust....."
