History has taught us that it is justified to break an unjust law and do it with conviction and willingness to accept the penalty. The problem with the Ten Commandments has nothing to do with political orientation.

The infinite wisdom and order in which the Ten Commandments were placed was always peculiar to me. The last five and most important commandments; “thou shall not murder, bear false witnesses, steal, commit adultery, and honor the parents” should have been placed at the top of the list and not the other way around. I’m sure some Christian lobbyist rearranged the commandments listing the superficial and trivial ones at the top of the list.

In my humble opinion it is doubtful that God would describe himself as a jealous God and waste his valuable time preparing the second commandment that was confusing and based on run on sentences.

“Mr Pavelic, you raised an interesting point! I may not always agree with some of Bill Biernat’s statements, but Mr. Pavelic did present a thought provoking question…In current reality, there are few free world leaders who are not socialists (other than some “push-back” in Australia and New Zealand). Unfortunately, the American Democrat party has been taken over by the radical left and certainly the current President is an undisputed Socialist working hard to destroy the Capitalist free world system. (Actually, there currently appears to be stronger support for Capitalism in China than in the American Democrat Party!!) As those who believe in American excellence and American values have been driven out of the Democrat Party, the Republican Party has become the home of Capitalist supporters who believe in American values so Mr. Pavelic can select from quite a few non-communist and anti-socialist political leaders from those candidates.

It is also difficult in the Montana court system to find anyone without “socialist tendencies”—a serious problem when people (especially lawyers) are elected on a “non-partisan” basis allowing the left-wing millions of dollars to flow into judicial races. Presently, there is only one Supreme Court Justice who is moderately conservative—the rest all lean in various degrees to the socialist left. Mr. Biernat is not too far off…”

2011-11-6 REPLY RE CHIEF JUSTICE CLARENCE THOMAS

As much as I detest Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas for his views on greedy corporations that, thanks to him and others, now own the political process in the United States, to this day, I believe that Clarence Thomas was railroaded on pseudo “sexual harassment” innuendos created by the Democrats in an attempt to derail his confirmation. It was an ugly chapter for him, however, unlike Herman Cain, Mr. Thomas passionately fought the charges and prevailed. Contrary to my dissatisfaction with his abominable Supreme Court record that will destroy America as we know it, I admire his uncompromising character and do not doubt his sincerity.

Herman Cain, on the other hand, is an alleged serial abuser who was happy to confidentially settle the civil nuisance cases as a CEO of the National Restaurant Association and when confronted, years later, the “shuck and jive” presidential contender simply lied that he didn’t remember the circumstances concerning those regrettable incidences. Come on! When you pay a ticket that you didn’t deserve or plea to a crime you did not commit, you are deemed convicted. Ask Fox News contributor Mark Fuhrman? I for one do not believe that Mr. Cain forgot the “false” witnesses and that he is a manufactured Tea Party/Fox News/Koch Brothers candidate who will destroy the other Republican contenders…. for turning a blind eye to his litany of lies.

I'm probably much older than you are and learned a long time ago that obsession and extremism from any source and on any subject, be it religion or history, is not conducive to civility, pragmatism, and realism. Like it or not, Ron Paul is aligned with the Republican Party just as Mikhail Gorbachev was aligned with the Communist Party. Both men are good people but history will judge them differently. Unlike Ron Paul, Gorbachev had the intestinal fortitude to make internal alterations and in the process changed the course of history. On the other hand, Ron Paul has not been able to sway the Republican Party to any degree and lost his credibility with Independents like me because his unfulfilled desires seem to surface every four years.

As a senior citizen, I am wise enough to understand that any "debate" requested by the politicians on both side of the conflict, is a formula to delay and continue business as usual. The greedy corporations are no longer under the radar and the younger generation will not tolerate the status quo. Ron Paul's old ideas had not been translated into anything positive because the Republican Party speaks from both sides of the mouth and no one outside their twisted ideology believes anything they say or promise.

The Republicans and Ron Paul are major components of the system that supports corporate welfare for the rich and is attacking the poor who are temporarily, and in some instances permanently dependent on the government’s compassionate handouts. The class warfare destroyed other great civilizations and we are not immune from realizing a similar destiny, especially if we let greed become synonymous with Capitalism.

While I respectfully disagree with Bob Barr on practically every issue, he is a Southern gentleman and his articles are well researched and articulated, albeit, composed for his enthusiastic and naïve audience. Perhaps Mr. Barr can enlighten us on the bigger threat to America, the U.S. Supreme Court justices who gave the greedy and corrupt corporations the means to buy and influence elections. Focusing on innocuous individuals like Jesse Jackson Jr. is entertaining, stimulating, and informative, but insignificant to the overall problems facing America.

2011-04-07 DONALD TRUMP BIRTHER MISREPRESENTATION

It was reported that Donald Trump is a top undeclared Republican contender for the presidency and that he hired an army of private investigators to investigate if president Obama was born in the United States. As an unofficial Fox news contributor and a potential presidential contender, Donald Trump knows that the allegations he is investigating are of a criminal nature and subject to national security implications.

If Donald Trump has evidence that Mr. Obama is impersonating the President of the United States and or is in fact a foreign born scam artist, this matter should be investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and The Justice Department, not some dubious private investigation firm.

As we all know, it is the responsibility of the Justice Department to conduct background investigations on all the candidates and if one was not done on president Obama that would qualify as a monumental national security breach. If it turns out that president Obama falsified his official records and that he is a foreign born imposter or a mole, the entire Bush "Department of Justice" should be held accountable. However, it is worth noting that none of the Fox news conspiracy contributors and their cadre of private mercenaries have traveled abroad and produced a single document showing that the president was born on foreign soil. Fox News is out to destroy President Obama by hook or by crook.

Unable to debunk the obvious, the right wing anti-American Fox contributors continue to falsely portray President Obama as being the anointed un-American socialist or communist, who, as our commander in chief, is bent on destroying this wonderful country that we love and adore. Fox wants this false non-issue to be treated ambiguously and have it investigated in perpetuity as was the case with the "Shroud of Turin".

Using a page from the Salem witchcraft period, the Fox “birther” concocted hoax was corrupted by wholesale conservative bias, lies, hysteria, and evil agenda. The case is as pathetic as it is infuriating. In the end, Fox knows that the American people will reject arch-conservatives immoral means intended to corrupt even the noblest of ends.

Fox has not been able to produce a scintilla of evidence validating their conclusions that president Obama is a foreign born socialist or a communist. Their paid contributors planted the bad seeds in hopes of derailing president Obama's chances in 2012 as they did in 2008 elections. What bothers me the most is that this outrageous conspiracy is taking place at a time when America is involved in two wars and a military conflict in Lybia.

As a former law enforcement officer, I for one believe in all my heart that president Obama was born in the U.S.A. and that the evidence of such birth is overwhelming. Nevertheless, we must learn from our mistakes and make certain they are never repeated. Let us stop victimizing potential presidential candidates and their wives from unsubstantiated and false conspiracy rumors that Fox news contributors ala "Donald Duck" perfected.

National security necessitates that all candidates and their wives undergo professional background checks and that will include Donald Trump's wife who was born in communist Yugoslavia. To prevent another outrageous conspiracy plot from developing, our candidates and or their potential "first ladies" must be cleared by the "Department of Justice" in advance of the 2012 election.

The third Mrs. Trump along with her immediate family deserves to be exonerated as soon as possible from the false rumors concerning their alleged membership in the Slovenian or Yugoslav communist party. Mrs. Trump should not be subjected to the same right wing poisonous medication that her husband is dispensing against president Obama.

If Donald Trump decides not to run for the president, as I suspect he will, some will argue that he did it because of the rumors surrounding his current wife. In the event he declares his candidacy and I hope he does, Mr. Trump will, at minimum, have to produce Mrs. Trump's birth certificate, that she was a legal immigrant, provide her authentic American citizenship, and her family's church membership in communist Yugoslavia. When Trump examines his wife’s original birth certificate his investigators might discover that she was born under a different name.

Donald Trump will learn that what goes around comes around. The privileged bully will soon discover that one can always count on yesterday's allies of becoming tomorrow's enemies, and today's enemies of becoming next day's unlikely allies. This knowledge of betrayal is passed on from one generation to another and I will venture to say that Donald Trump's "birther" stance will ultimately lead Rupert Murdoch and Co. to fatally undermine and endanger his candidacy. Playing both sides in a political arena is not the same as playing poker with corporate America.

The apprentice is about to learn that political graveyards with Fox insignias are filled to capacity with self-serving indispensable con artists like Donald Trump.

JANUARY 11, 2011 THE CARNAGE IN TUCSON

Fox News “day of reckoning has arrived” but at a heavy price. The investigation into the attempted political assassination of Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Giffords will undoubtedly spotlight the role of extreme right wing radio and TV personalities, most notably, Fox News Channel’s commentators Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck.

In my humble opinion, the examination of Fox News role as a media outlet will reveal that Sean Hannity and other right wing media hosts unrelentingly and obsessively targeted candidate Obama to derail his campaign and thereafter his presidency, by persistently misrepresenting him as a radical foreign born Islamafascist, a Socialist and a Communist. These radio host “pillars” sold their artificial and superficial “bill of goods” to naïve audiences across America and helped transform the extreme 1960’s John Birch Society into a new 2008 Republican “Tea Party” movement that was high jacked by right wing extremists.

No legitimate media organization should be permitted to inspire or incite violence or lend authenticity to right or left wing extremists who without an iota of evidence repeatedly claim that our Commander in Chief is a Marxist, a Socialist, or a Nazi. This is an invitation to anarchism and a recipe for disaster.

As a bonafide legal immigrant and a staunch anti-communist, I am insulted by Fox News interpretation of Marxism and I am equally appalled by former president George Bush and the Republican establishment for their tacit silence and failure to defend President Obama in a time of war.

Had they acted courageously and judiciously the carnage in Tucson would most likely not have occurred and Sharon Angle along with Sarah Palin would not have inundated their supporters with slogans like “Don’t retreat - instead reload” or if all else fails rely on the “Second Amendment remedies”. Sarah Palin went even further by targeting congressional candidate Gabrielle Giffords in a web site placing her “in the crosshairs” at about the same time her opponent, Jesse Kelly, sent an invitation to his supporters to “shoot a fully automatic M16″ and “remove Gabrielle Giffords from office”.

I don’t know if Gabrielle Giffords attempted assassination by mass murderer Jared Lee Loughner was influenced by the toxic rhetoric spewed by Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin and others. However, I do know that Giffords assassin used a semi automatic weapon, placed her in the crosshairs, relied on the “Second Amendment remedies” and essentially removed Gabrielle Giffords from her office. When the smoke cleared, among the six people who were killed included a highly respected federal judge and equally impressive Democratic congressional aide.

History has a tendency of repeating itself and it is interesting to note that the Koch brothers and Texas billionaires funded the John Birch Society just as they are subsidizing certain elements of the “Tea Party” movement. Like Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck, the John Birch Society used the media to falsely accuse President John F. Kennedy, Senator Robert F. Kennedy, and civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. of being Communists. There were other victims of their character assassination, including former president Dwight D. Eisenhower.

Instead of denouncing extremism, Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck took a page from the John Birch Society manifesto and intentionally distorted President Obama’s record by suggesting that the president is a foreign born Marxist and Islamafascist. As we all know, the last revolutionary movement by the right wing anti-communist and anti-government lunatics resulted in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, Senator Robert F. Kennedy, and Martin Luther King Jr. All of them were Democrats.

The John Birch Society was rendered irrelevant only after the conservative vanguards of the Republican Party denounced their extremism and debunked their outlandish allegations. It is time for patriotic Americans, to call on Fox News and other media outlets to implore them to denounce and repudiate hate monger commentators who spend an inordinate amount of time polarizing the nation instead of unifying it. This is especially egregious because we are engaged in two wars. If we do not challenge Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck for their extreme political rhetoric and misguided line of attacks against our office holders, I’m afraid there will be more political assassinations like the one we just witnessed in Arizona.

2010-12-07 STRANGE RAPE CASE INVOLVING WIKILEAKS JULIAN ASSANGE

As a former sexual assault investigator, I have come in contact with many genuine and a notable number of fictitious victims of rape. In the matter of WikiLeaks Julian Assange, I reviewed countless media reports from around the globe and concluded that Julian Assange is being railroaded by politically motivated prosecutors in an effort to convict him in the court of public opinion, to destroy his credibility, interrogate him on other matters and deny him a fair trial.

Julian Assange is a victim of a vicious and unrelenting international smear campaign and our domestic print and electronic media has done very little to inform the American people that no sexual assault charges had been filed against him and that he is presumed to be innocent just as Fox commentator Bill O’Reilly was when he was accused of sexual harassment a few years ago.

While I understand the unpopularity of Julian Assange in the United States and elsewhere, it is reckless for Fox to use their paid contributors, ala Sarah Palin and others, to rally their audience and demand that Mr. Assange be “hunted down like Osama bin Laden”. Sarah Palin, Mike Huckabee, Newt Gingrich and other Fox paid purveyors of disinformation need to be reminded that unchecked vigilante justice is perverted injustice and contrary to our principles of justice.

2010-10-10 CONFLICT INVOLVING FOX NEWS PAID CONTRIBUTORS

Politico’s article by Johathan Martin and Keach Hagey’s concerning Fox News complicated contractual conflict involving Mike Huckabee, Newt Gingrich, Sara Palin and Rick Santorum is long overdue. Please permit me to expand on this issue.

Shortly after I immigrated to United States from Communist Yugoslavia, in 1961, I was immediately recruited by John Birch Society to join their anti-communist ranks. The first book that was recommended to me was “Masters of Deceit” by J. Edgar Hoover. Even at the age of 16, I found the entire right wing movement to be radical and illegitimate in that they relied on fear through historical distortions. Calling former President Eisenhower a Communist was obviously and demonstrably false.

J. Edgar Hoover’s book may be outdated but it is a recipe that is now being espoused by Fox News and their paid radical conservative distorters. As a 16 year old, I distinctly remember a John Birch Society recruiter telling me that “if a lie is not challenged, it remains the truth”. His words were absolutely correct and Fox News perfected this argument.

As a research arm of the Republican Party, Fox and Co. have done more long lasting damage to our country from the inside than terrorist Osama Bin Laden did from the outside. Their disrespect of the Office of the Presidency and repeated false reference to Obama as a Socialist and the “Anointed One” is intentional, reprehensible, and anti-American, especially in time of war. Character assassination is what they practice, regardless of the consequences.

I was in Florida during the 2008 election and astounded with Democrats appeasement and lack of response to Fox News cronies who used their conservative radio talk show hosts to spew hatred and toxic rhetoric, in an attempt to derail candidate Obama. Repeated lies by these paid pundits became the truth and Americans from all walks of life are now victims of Fox News propaganda.

Having mastered the art of deception Fox News is now paying, leading, guiding and directing potential presidential candidates’ ala Mike Huckabee, Newt Gingrich, Sarah Palin and Rick Santorum to serve the interests of Rupert Murdoch and his Chinese wife….instead of American interests.

Thank God that President Obama is not married to woman whose family is part of the Red Chinese government, because if the roles were reversed, Gingrich, Santorum, Huckabee and Palin, on behalf of Fox News, would be calling it a National Security Issue.
