THE "SHUCK AND JIVE" TEAM
Los Angeles District Attorney Gil Garcetti assigned and handed over the functional responsibility of "indicting" A.C. Cowlings and Anthony Pellicano to Deputy District Attorney Chris Darden and Terry White. These two upstanding token "brothers" lost every major police related assault case that I am familiar with, including, the Rodney King beating and the 39th and Dalton scandal. A Deputy District Attorney of any county can indict a ham sandwich except for the "shuck and jive" team of Chris Darden and Terry White. By not indicting A.C. Cowlings and Anthony Pellicano, the L.A.D.A. prosecutors scandalously permitted O.J. Simpson and others to escape justice. The reason for not indicting the two participants was because Mark Fuhrman, the most important witness in the O.J.Simpson trial, was a friend of Anthony Pellicano, as was Chris Darden.
As soon as Anthonly Pellicano was "cleared" by Christopher Darden and the District Attorney's Office he was used like a "rented mule" to intimidate witnesses and engage in illegal wiretaping activities on behalf of LAPD and the District Attorney's Office. I for one was a victim of illegal wiretaping by Anthony Pellicano and his LAPD associates, long after the Trial Of The Century.
Chris Darden, Mark Fuhrman and Anthony Pellicano used the Grand Jury proceedings and the Trial Of The Century to enrich themselves by selectively feeding lurid stories to tabloid media in order to advance their book deals. Chris Darden and Mark Fuhrman may have gotten rich by publishing their books with the same publishing company but they will forever be despised and remembered for losing the murder trial in the matter of O.J. Simpson.
As an aside, it is interesting to note that the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office and their whining cry-baby Deputy District Attorney Chris Darden also had no problems dealing with Mark Fuhrman's criminal defense lawyer (a former LAPD supervisor) who successfully defended Sgt. Stacey Koon in the beating of Rodney King, a case that triggered the worst rioting in California's history. In a subsequent and calculated move by LAPD and LADA, the same defense attorney who defended former LAPD Sgt. Stacy Koon would thereafter be activated to defend LAPD Detective Mark Fuhrman for perjury allegations that the O.J. Simpson defense team uncovered and initiated with the California Department of Justice. |
