A.C. COWLINGS - ANTHONY PELLICANO AND BARRY BONDS
"....The LAPD Robbery Homicide Division did very little to see to it that AC Cowlings was held accountable for aiding and abetting his friend O.J. Simpson in the infamous Bronco chase. The cops and the prosecutors were more interested in A.C. Cowlings girlfriend, Jennifer Peace, an adult entertainer, who subsequently "hooked up" with baseball legend Barry Bonds. It is no coincidence that practically every great African American celebrity that was "represented" by Anthony Pellicano became a target of tabloid journalism and or the all mighty arm of the State or Federal prosecutors...."
"....One has to wonder why was A.C. Cowlings arrested, booked and given $250.000 bail by Robbery Homicide Division but not prosecuted? In my almost 40 years of law enforcement related work, I have never seen a case where a witness of A.C. Cowlings caliber, along with O.J. Simpson's minor children, did not testify in a trial. Perhaps, a backroom deal was struck to prevent A.C. Cowlings from testifying about the unregistered weapon that O. J. Simpson was armed with at the time of the Bronco chase. The gun in question was purchased and given to O.J. by a high ranking Los Angeles Police officer, in charge of providing security and protection to owners of the Los Angeles Raiders football team...."
"....There is no denying that A.C. Cowlings was a cooperating witness in a Federal case for the law firm of Mitchell, Silberberg & Knupp. The firm represented A.C. Cowlings friend, a restaurant owner, who was indicted in Los Angeles in a major federal drug and money laundering case. With A.C. Cowlings in their pocket and LAPD Robbery Homicide detectives on the pay roll of Mitchell, Silberberg & Knupp law firm, attorney Daniel Petrocelli had no problem winning a $33.5 million dollar wrongful death settlement against O. J. Simpson. In his book "Triumph of Justice", Mr. Petrocelli totally ignored A.C. Cowling's "cooperation" in the federal drug case that was litigated shortly before the murders of Nicolle Brown and Ron Goldman....."
"....Instead of investigating a known double-dealing, lying, and scheming plumber and wiretap expert, the LAPD Robbery Homicide Division recruited Anthony Pellicano to assist them in intimidating defense witnesses in the O.J. Simpson case. Anthony Pellicano became an agent of the police and he immediately commenced to feed his illegally obtained personally damaging information to Geraldo Rivera and the National Enquirer. The "wink and the nod" agreement between Pellicano and the prosecutors had one main goal in mind; invade and undermine the defense camp by any means and use the tabloid media to destroy their witnesses. Anthony Pellicano had finally achieved greatness and or what he coveted ever since he arrived in Los Angeles; the penetration of the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office...." |
